In the Video Capture Device source Properties and not anything else Make sure the Device is set to Elgato Game Capture HD (or your device’s driver for Avermedia, Razer Ripsaw, etc) If on PS4: Visit the Settings > System section of the PlayStation 4 interface, and turn off Enable HDCP. Then if you need to add it to another scene choose Add from existing and not Create New. Once it's completely removed, re-add it in a singular scene. I'd like to not have to purchase another if possible. If you have not yet checked out our guide on how to get started with a capture card I have probably the oldest version of the HD60, I purchased it several years ago. So I guess my question is, how, if possible, can I hear the audio without delay and also the stream/recording hear the audio without delay? I read somewhere about buying an aux cable and a ground loop noise isolator but that would make the audio the stream hears delayed as well as the audio I hear being delayed (I think? Please correct me if I'm wrong.) I tried to plug headphones into the switch but that took the audio away from the capture card completely. I set the capture card audio settings to monitor the audio as I couldn't think of another way to set it up, this was the best I've achieved so far where it was only delayed for me and not for the stream. So my issue currently is that I have the Switch set up in Streamlabs OBS, the recording I tested had game sound as expected, but I wanted to hear the game sound myself as I am speed running Mario Odyssey and rely on the audio cues from time to time. Hey what's going on guys, hope you're all doing well. Thanks to /u/iTruthful and Conceptional for the art!
